Conducted a special outreach visit at Nachitete Primary School in Chongwe District, Lusaka Province

Libala Seventh-day Adventist church Prayer Band members led by Personal Ministries Department elder, Stephen Tembo, today (04/12/2025) conducted a special outreach visit at Nachitete Primary School in Chongwe District, Lusaka Province The Government school is located in the Chifwema area of Chongwe District, Lusaka Province. ‎Other elders in attendance included Children's Ministries elder, Chiluba Kaite, and Women's Ministries elder, Graham Mwanauta. ‎ ‎During the visit, Prayer Band members dedicated time to a season of prayer, with sessions led by Elder Mwanauta and the Libala Church Clerk, Esther Kabalanyana Banda. ‎ ‎The prayers focused on: ‎ ‎Healing for pupils suffering from sickness; ‎ ‎Academic success and the desire that all children may complete their education; ‎ ‎Good health for parents and guardians; ‎ ‎Support for teachers and the school’s administration; and, ‎ ‎Blessings upon the Government and cooperating partners for their continued support. ‎ ‎Among the members present was Prosper Kanja, a professional teacher trained in Mathematics and Accounts, who shared a motivating word with the pupils. Ms Kanja encouraged the pupils to work hard, believe in themselves, and never feel inferior for coming from a rural area. She reminded pupils that they hold great value in society. ‎ ‎Libala Church Prayer Band members also donated assorted items to the pupils of Nachitete Primary School, including: ‎ ‎Books ‎ ‎Uniforms ‎ ‎School shoes ‎ ‎Sanitary pads ‎ ‎Pens and pencils ‎ ‎Soap ‎ ‎The Prayer Band also offered prayers for the pupils, teachers, and some parents who were present. ‎ ‎The Head Teacher, Linus Brown Kataule, on behalf of all the teachers, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Libala Seventh-day Adventist church for the kind gesture and support rendered to the school. ‎ ‎Isaac Bumi Chibakela, a grade 4 pupil, who received a school Jessy, new school shoes , soap, books and pens, thanked the church for the donation.
